Tornado Trinavarta

Once, Yashoda was sitting with Krishna on her lap. Suddenly, he felt very heavy. So, she placed him on the ground and started doing her daily chores. Krishna was playing happily when suddenly he was swept off the ground by a tornado! The tornado was none other than the asura Trinavarta, a friend of Kamsa. Soon, entire Gokul was covered in darkness. With difficulty, Yashoda went to pick Krishna from the ground, but she was shocked that he had disappeared! Meanwhile, the asura Trinavarta started carrying Krishna away, Krishna made himself heavier so that Trinavarta would not be able to carry him any further. Krishna then caught him by the throat and killed him. Trinavarta fell on the ground with a thud. When all the residents of Gokul gathered around to see what happened, they saw Krishna sitting on Trinavarta with a huge smile on his face. All were amazed to see Krishna sitting there. Yashoda was also relieved to see Krishna, so she picked him up and took him home.

Story Of Chakra Tirtha

Once, there was a brahmana named Padmanabha who was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. He performed a severe penance on the banks of Chakra Pushkarini. On being pleased with his penance, Lord Vishnu appeared before him. On seeing Lord Vishnu, Padmanabha started to eulogize him. Once upon a time Tulsi, the daughter of Dharmaraj, was visiting all the holy places reciting the name of Lord Vishnu in order to get married. Once, in her journey on the banks of the Ganges she saw a handsome man with a charming smile on his face wearing yellow silken garments and sandalwood paste on his limbs and wearing gem-studded ornaments. How King Kaushika Became Sage Vishwamitra

Once upon a time, King Kaushika and his army went on a hunt. They soon became tired and hungry. So, they searched for food and water everywhere. They then came across Sage Vasishta's hermitage and asked him for food and water. Sage Vasishta and his wife Arundhati, offered them a sumptuous meal. King Kaushika was puzzled. He wondered how a poor Sage like Vasishta could offer him and his huge army such a sumptuous meal. He asked the Sage how he was able to do so. Vasishta told Kaushika that he could do this with the help of his cow, Kamadhenu (wish-fulfilling cow) which he had got as a gift from Lord Indra.
